Delightful Doves

The first dove was relaxing and eating
in our birdbath feeder.
The next was keeping warm in winter
while searching for seeds on the ground.
The last was suspicious of my camera. :)

The last two are my personal favorites.
I really enjoy being able to get closeups
of birds from our backyard!
The bluejays are hard to get since they
grab their food and dart away.
I caught him just as he picked up a seed!
The dove in 'Wings of a Dove'
seemed like he was posing just for me :)
The cardinal was perched on our fence.
The mountains were taken from our trip
that took us through Virginia.
The ocean is the NC beach we live right by.
And the sun was a spring sun setting on our
way from the store as we drove over a bridge.

One of my favorite verses is Psalm 8:3-4.
"When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers,
the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
and the son of man, that thou visitest him?"

I take many pictures of creation and decided to
design this blog specifically to share them on.
I want to encourage others to 'consider His works'.
When we look around us, we can learn more of the Creator
by observing and considering His creation.
What a awesome and almighty God He is,
and that He is 'mindful of us'!
